手邊沒照相機也沒有掃描器, 不過這張 CD 是由一位曾經在身邊的可愛女生所創作的. 考完再來補述詳細內容, 順便來個 review + 官網好了.

The last week of school is here. What does that mean? It means soon, very soon, I’ll be sitting in a huge classroom taking finals with my peers, sweating over answers and regretting not spending enough time studying. Therefore, I’ll save those sweats to study right now. Byebye to my home PC… for a while. Very soon, happy winter break is coming.

Oh and there’s that huge stack of CompUSA rebate forms I had to copy and send… Orz

An interesting page for interesting person, I guess. Who on earth would want to download a local copy of Wikipedia @_@? At the size of tens of gigabytes, who knows. Anyway, interesting…

I kept thinking to myself, why do these people keep calling out their sites when they know they did some unnatural link acquisitions? 給不知道 Podcast 是什麼的人: 簡單說就是錄起來的 mp3 廣播(或者節目). 看那個 ‘pod’ 三個字就不難想像這個主意原先是由 Apple 由 iTunes 所推廣的. 由於 iPod 的普遍已經到達很不可思議的程度, 加上 ITMS 的簡易使用介面, 製作成功的 podcast 所擁有的聽眾可是遠超過一般廣播可能到達的程度. 只要有了廣大的聽眾, yes, 就會有商機. 當然有一堆人做 Podcast 是在作好玩的啦 XD

所以最近這幾個月美國各家大小公司紛紛推出 podcast 丟在 ITMS 裡面讓人免費下載. 如果你喜歡某個 podcast, 簡單的點一下 Subscribe 後, iTunes 會定時去檢查有沒有新的 episode, 有的話自動下載下來, 然後下次 Sync 的時候丟入 iPod 裡面.

台灣的 Podcast 還沒什麼主流的廣播公司在做的樣子. 雖然早在 8 月時候的 Taipei Times 就寫說 “Apple launches its Podcast Directory service in Taiwan“:

These radio stations include UFO Radio (飛碟電台), Kiss Radio, Broadcasting Corp of China (中廣) and International Community Radio Taipei (ICRT), he said, adding that the company may add more partners to the service at a later stage.

阿這些啥時候要出現在 ITMS 的 Podcast 裡面阿… 或許要等到 ITMS 有台灣中文版 (or maybe 台灣於國際上被承認主權獨立後) 才會?

日文版的多方便阿 :’(

目前台灣應該有一些 podcast stations 了吧, ijliao 長輩的這篇雖然已經幾個月了, 不過現在階段應該還是差不多那樣… Orz 等待阿… ITMS in Taiwan, 不然 podcast 部分先出來也可以 XD

附帶一提, 目前英文版 ITMS 裡面的 Podcast, 目前最常聽的應該是 TWiT, this WEEK in TECH 吧. 雖然大部分的東西都在 digg 或者 /. 上面都有討論, 但是由於那幾個 host 在一起的時候很常爆出好笑的片段, 聽他們討論好玩多了. 最近才看到 gslin 長輩的 post 也提到的 Sony Rootkits 事件, 這件事是上個禮拜的 TWiT 頭條, 我想這個禮拜大概又會再來一次吧 (LAME 的 LGPL 那部份), 聽他們損 Sony 真的很好笑阿… XD Diggnation 的 podcast 也不錯, 但是看 video podcast 的效果會更好. NPR 系列的也都不錯啦
