Ping – Update Services
Posted under: This website, found under the Update Services in WordPress Codex, has listed a bunch of other websites that offer pinging for new or edited posts. Supposely, it will drive up the traffic of the website. What’s the point of that though? Well, maybe it will look good on the counter? Or, if the traffic leads to an increasing number of links to this address, does that mean the that little green bar on top will go up? Aka, gxxgle-bxmb? Jesus knows..
