While installing, please remember:
- All you need is Codec and Player, you don’t need to accept any Free Trials.
- You don’t have to make the DIVX Player the default player for anything.
Now you are ready to download the videos. The files are large, a total of 1.3GB for all five of them.
Select one to download at a time, and probably you will have to leave it downloading for a while.

- Dad TG2 Speech (289MB)
- Dad Speech Part 1 (504MB)
- Dad Speech Part 2 (138MB)
- Taiwanese Debate + Taiwan Night (321MB)
I would suggest to download the movie first and then try to play it back.
Right click on the link and select “Save Target As” or “Save Link As” or something like that.
During playback, however, there are things that you need to change.
The aspect ration of these videos should be 16:9 (wide screen), but most of the standard players will play it as 4:3 (normal).
Then the video will look like being side pressed together, everything gets taller and thinner.
Since I notice built in softwares like Windows Media Player failed to detect the aspect ration automatically,
here I will include a little software that does better than Windows Media Player.
Media Player Classic (Right click save as to Desktop)
If you have this file on your desktop, all you have to do now is to drag the downloaded video onto mplayerc.exe icon on the desktop.
Or you can manually open Media Player Classic and select File/Open and open the video file you downloaded.
Lastly, if it somehow failed to display in wide screen ratio, here is what to do:
View -> Video Frame -> Override Aspect Ratio -> 16:9
