Dec 22 ~ Dec 30 is too long to be documented in one single post. I’m fighting to write each day as an entry or to simply mentioned them briefly in a whole post. In conclusion, it turned out to be quite simple: pictures are worth thousands words. So, here is the link to the picture gallery that pretty much documented our trip:

I don’t know if it’s possible for us to gather up like this again, because people are simply leaving. Time is due. I had fun and I will make sue I remember once we’re this close to each other. It’s hard to find soemone who you can open yourself to, at least this is true for me. Hopefully not too long from now, we can be together again.

Dec 20, I went to snowboarding in Snowqualmin(?)’s central way(?). We have me, nini, and Steven in one car, HJ and Nelson in the other car. These are the five brave souls that snowboard in a cold rainy day.

Too bad i do not have pictures of the 360 spins I did up in the mountain because I do not want to ruin the camera… just kidding. But overall it is more fun than I remembered. Surprisingly I picked it up farily quick, faster than I anticipated. As far as nini is concerned, she cannot snowboard, period. We stayed on top of the hill for the first hour. When she finally gave up and agreed to walk down with me, I threw the snowboard down but it went all the way none stop to the side into bushes. When I saw the board flying into the bush I was thinking “Oh shit…. Orz”. An I-Don’t-Know-Who American snowboarder went immediately to the site and retrieve the board for me. Thank you, sincerely, I-Don’t-Know-Who.

That day ends with some nice feast prepared by Petty and Lydia at Petty’s place. The food is simply awsome. Here is the recipe for the killer dish - ribs:

  1. Get the pork rib marinated for two hours in some Japanese BBQ sauce.
  2. Lay the rib on top of sliced vegitables: carrots, onions, celery.
  3. Bake each side under 350 degree for 1HR
  4. Eat

Looks easy right? Yes indeed, but it tastes SO GOOD, hungry now :~

AND then for DEC 21, 2005 - Major event: KTV at night.

Oh, food at Takohachi is pretty darn good too, this is what they look like: (Curry Hamburger and Kimchi Hanchan)

KTV in Seattle, yeah, same old place - KBox. Gossip now owns it though. Apprantly they’re making use of Linux in their system. Wondering if we can get those programs somewhere on the Internet. A lot of music it played are download from Internet, it even got logos of downloading site, pretty messed up copyright infrigement right there.

In short, we had some really fun night. Details are better kept as memories for each individual. Here is a “group” picture that Shannon kindly took for us (Thank you thank you shannon):

December 17th (it’s really 18th already when things happened) is the day that I pushed way over my limit. It may seem nothing to anyone who drinks regularly, but it is just so over my limit. So highlight of today: drinking. Due to explicit content on pictures taken, photos will remain as private memories only. It was fun. So what happened?

HJ called before the end of 17th and said he will bring some 40% wisky and show us some Korean style drinking. We have me, Steven, Misa and HJ to start the game with. Everyone took a shot (it’s really half a shot glass) of that 40% first, followed by a sip of Dr. Pepper. That’s the first time ever in my life that Dr. Pepper tastes good.

So the game we played is the pointing game. Say we have n people to start with, so we can call out number from 2 to n+1. In our case is 2 to 5. The way it worked is that when we all count 1-2-3! and we all point at someone, randomly. Then the one who is the number caller will call a number within that range. Starting from the number caller’s target being 1, and follow the arrows until the number called is reached, and we have a victim to finish that 40% + alcohol mixed drink that HJ said “This s**t is gonna f**k you guys up really bad.”

Who’s the first loser? Yeah me… Orz. I took total of 3+(1/3) cups of those crazy mix, and I should also remember the bottle of Heineken before we started the game. The fun last for about 2 hours maybe? And then, I am drunk. So drunk.

I’ve always think that being drunk on TV is just a form of drama. On this day I finally know what it tastes like. I think I’m the first one to start puking. After me it’s Steven. Then Yasu, who joined when we’re all getting very hight already. HJ lasted whole night without puking. I, however, went back and forth the toilet throughout the night for like 5 times? Everything I drank tastes like alcohol. Lemonade, ice water, bottle water, Anything. So after the first puking, I sat on the sofa trying to calm myself. Yasu kindly offered me some iced lemonade. Not long after drinking it, I puked again. Again and again and again until it’s almost 7 AM that it stopped and I can finally sleep.

Who feels the wors the next day? It has to be HJ. Since he held up the whole night worth of alcohol in his stomache without throwing up, his stomache must have been busy working on those alcohol. Anyway, very interesting and unforgettable experience. Enough.

Therefore that 18th night, me and Steven decided to stay alcohol free. This is what we have for that night:

What’s not shown on the picture is the Miso Soup in the pot boiling and rice that is still cooking as well as our alcohol free soda. Look at the dishes! No Alcohol? Actually at the end, we still had some tiny little bit.

Skipping two days, because nothing major happened. Yesterday, however, are quite interesting. Finally, we went to Alki beach. So we have me, Steven, Misa, HJ, Lydia, Petty and Shannon. Me and Steven met Petty and Shannon when we’re buying Steven’s mom’ stuff. We lured them into eating Todai on top of Pacific Place. Feels good eating with old friends.

So anyway, we went back to pickup Misa and then came back to meet up with Hsia sisters and HJ and Lydia, then we head to Alki together. It was so freaking hella cold. But it was fun. Somehow steven got some fireworks that girls can play.

I tried throwing those sticks up in the air so it will make some beautiful shape. Too bad it’s just too cold I cannot get a picture of those bright curves. It brought back several good memories.

After getting frozen, we went into the Starbucks Coffee right over the street and order some drinks.

Talking about whatevern seems funny on whatever is at the current topic for about 30 minutes, we decided to go bowling. Bowling, yeah. On the way to the bowling place, Misa asked me if I’m any good in bowling, well, my best score ever in my life is like 160 something, and worst is about 50, 60s? I guess it’s really bad.

The team was split to me, Steven, Misa vs. HJ, Petty, Shannon, and virtual Lydia. Since Lydia’s name was entered but she doesn’t want to play, HJ, Petty, and Shannon took turn to throw Lydia’s round. It’s fun. Shannon’s robotic throws. Steven’s fall down and strike. HJ’s between the legs. It was a fun game.

The other car headed home after the game so we three decided to have some drinks at the bar near waterfront.

DSC00753.JPG

I can feel my face burning after half cup of the first beer. Steven got pretty good at drinking, I have to say. He finished the first cup of beer and drank up another three cups of Jintonic(?). Misa had some weird cocktail first and another two cups of Cosma(?). I barely finished the first cup of beer and another Cosma and my face is all red already. We had some pretty fun time joking around in the bar together.

After that, go home and sleep. Good night.
